Here at Effect Web Agency we’ve been doing quite a bit of inward looking and thoughtful contemplation about who we are as an organization and where we want to go. So when a trusted friend in the industry recently asked us, “what are you passionate about?” it really got me thinking.
Having a passion for what you do and for helping others succeed is a non-negotiable value for everyone on our team. We are specialists in our own areas but collectively we are exuberant about:
- Holistic Approach: We believe that in order to be truly successful on the Web you need to take a holistic approach. That means the various spokes of the Web strategy wheel (think intelligent design, organic search marketing, multimedia, social media, etc) must seamlessly work together in order to create an effective presence on the Web.
- Strategy: Successful Web sites begin with a web strategy and laying out site goals and a method for measuring the goals. This solid foundation allows our clients to get the maximum return on their investment. We’ve never been one of those web developers who just through up a five page site and call it done. There is so much more to it than that. For example, if search engines are important, make you sure consult with an experienced SEO specialist.
- Innovation: We love to try new, exciting things with our clients. Whether that’s building them an interactive microsite with a viral component or creating a tool to enhance their customer’s experience, innovation really sparks our flame. Innovative ideas and tools have helped our clients cut through the clutter.
- Learning: We are knowledge hounds. We’re addicted to learning as much as we can, especially about new innovations in the Web. At any given time you could fine one of us nose deep in a marketing blog or with our eyes glued to a video demonstration.
- Simplicity: Less is more. Users are tired of complicated and complex. We believe in breaking things down and removing the fluff and clutter.
- Integrity: Trust and relationships are something that cannot be bought. We believe in being honest and up front with our clients at all times.
- Balance: Having balance in all aspects of your life is so important. We help our clients seek a balanced, holistic approach on the Web. Internally, we strive for a balance between work and play.
