Innovative Site Goes Social
Partner
Effect is different. Our firm has worked with several web agencies and Effect’s attention to our project was fascinating. Effect took ownership of our concept and implemented it as promised. The most impressive facet of Effect was that they were always ‘thinking’. Many web agencies are cookie-cutter, not Effect. - Steve Sweazy,

Challenge
needed to overhaul their accident news sites with the priority of encouraging visitors to engage socially on the site. To do that, the new site must clearly communicate its purpose and function. The marketing team inside their web company recognized the opportunities to help law firms move their ineffective advertising dollars from phone books to the web.
Solution
Through the !nsight Lab process, Effect collaborated with the web solutions firm,
, to outline the plan to overhaul the structure, functionality, and presentation of the previous accident news sites. We then designed and constructed the new sites. The new user-friendly design included an instruction bar that’s shown each time a new user visits the site. This bar shows a brief overview of the site’s purpose and function. With that brief introduction, the visitor is ready to participate. Visitors also interact with the map, comment about the accident, share the accident details via Twitter or Facebook, read an educational blog, or contact the sponsoring law firm for help. The new site structure and subsites are finely tuned to leverage natural search engine optimization through the constant publication of daily content.
